If you’re looking for beach holidays, resorts, or city trips, then don’t travel with GOIN. But it’s better you find out yourself. Browse the website, learn about the background of our retreats, holidays, and coaching options. Travelling can be a profound personal, and even an intimate experience. It changes the way we look to the world, to others, to nature, and especially to ourselves. Travelling makes you understand your place in the world. And when we travel inwards, it is even our goal to come out different on the other end. GOIN is therefore about both GOING and GO-IN. We focus on both travelling in the world, and travelling into ourselves. The connection between the two is more than parellels… they follow the same path that ultimately leads to YOU.

So much of who we are now, comes from where we’ve been

If life experiences shape our personalities, then travel experiences shape our soul

We cannot travel and return home the same person we were when we left, for we are changed… forever

‘Going’ is to travel and experience the world. GOIN offers (guided and selfdrive) holidays to New Zealand, a country that is near to my heart. New Zealand can not leave you untouched. Its connection with nature, the people, the freedom; it wants to be experienced. Also, I organize (spiritual) retreats in Transylvania, where I live with my girlfriend and cats. Transylvania is probably the most beautiful part of Europe. It holds beauty, mystery and magic. It is my wish and GOIN’s mission to share my “passion for travel” with you.

‘Go In’ is to travel and experience ourselves. I realized my high sensitivity at a later age, when I was going through massive spiritual changes. It became clear to me that sensitivity and spiritual growth are deeply connected. I want to help sensitive people discover their traits and guide them to become who they are truly meant to be. Like travelling the physical world, the journey inside touches us deeply. So we need to step carefully. We first have to “unbecome who we think we are”, unlearn what we think to be true, in order to become who we were always meant to be.

Who is the man behind GOIN?

“TheĀ  first time I flew on an plane, I went to literally the other side of the world: New Zealand. There, I got infected with the travel-virus and fell in love with the beauty of the country and its people. Since then, I’ve seen beautiful places all around the world. I’ve met some of the most wonderful people, and I had amazing travel experiences.
I want to share that passion with you. I want to help you create your own unique experience, so you will also tell great travel stories. Those memories are priceless and eternal. The travels and retreats I organize have a spiritual touch to them. This combination is close to my heart. Being a Highly Sensitive Person (one who’s also been through the struggles and hardship of spiritual awakening), I would very much like to help you on your path.”

Martijn was born in The Netherlands in 1974. He studied biology in Groningen, and later worked in IT for 12,5 years. At the same time, he was successfully organizing many dance events. He decided to follow his true heart’s desire and to do what he’s really good at. On his spiritual journey he learned about his traits as a Highly Sensitive Person. After he moved to New Zealand in 2018, his life took an unexpected turn. It brought him to Romania, to his girlfriend and their cats in Cluj-Napoca. Martijn is a born organizer, someone who takes care of every detail. GOIN combines his passion for travelling, spirituality, cooking, story telling, meeting people, massage, etc etc.

Travelling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.
